First day at the job

I drove down to NetApp today morning. It's about 15 miles from the place I live, was a smooth ride. My first day at job was pretty good. It's quite different working here than in India. I have no training and have been told that I shall directly be working on two projects. It was bit too much for the first day. Also sat for two meetings and everything bounced off my head. Had to do HR work too. Got most of it done. Just left with some more random stuff. Will complete it this week. My team members seem pretty experienced and were really good to me. Me and one other guy seem to be the only young people around. Everyone else is quite senior, must be 15+ years experience. It's good in a way that I will learn from them and bad bcoz they expect alot out of me. I hope I do good as I have always done.

It's pretty boring after job though, make your own food, iron clothes, have to clean house, think of laundry on weekends. Life seems to suck with job. I really miss school a lot. It was fun in Clemson. No tension at all. Now I have to be responsible. Anyway can't help, life goes on!!!
