Once a geek always a geek

So I got a book called "Ten day MBA" a couple of days. I haven't completed even the first chapter and I feeling like throwing the book away. Not that the book is horrible or anything. It's just that I have realized that I am not fit for MBA or atleast I don't like the junk that you need to understand to be a MBA. The reason being I am very pragmatic and scientific in my approach towards everything in my life. I need to know why things behave the way they do. I am not at all theortical.

Anyway I have realized that I would like remain a Computer Engineer (atleast for a while), since I really love the field. For the coming months I have decided to get the following things accompanished
1) Understand B-trees (I am almost done with it)
2) Writing a simple B-tree based filesystem for Linux
3) Writing a network (FTP) based filesystem client for Linux

This should keep me occupied for couple of months now.

Also I have to stop (or atleast cut down) watching TV and read more of books instead.
