Aamhi Marathi

This Friday Tanu and me watched 21. We really loved it since the story revolved around Black Jack. Saturday morning we went on a hike in Chapel Hill with folks from Sierra Club and it was great fun. We got to meet lots of new people and we plan to hike again with those folks.

However the highlight of this weekend was a Marathi play that we watched in Durham. We went to the play directly from our hike with all our muddy clothes. It was bit embarrassing since almost everyone else was well dressed, but we weren't bothered much. The play was called "Khoon Kaarun Pahava". It was based on some English novel but was very well executed. This was the first Marathi play that I watched in the US. The last play that I had watched was in India with my parents and just before coming to the US for graduate studies.
