Crazy weekend

Shlok has been staying with me since Tanu move to Columbia about 12 days ago...We could not ship Shlok with her since it's new place for us....and we have friends and doctors in Morrisville but know hardly anyone there...

Tanu was suppose to visit us this weekend but was drained out due to the flu...To make matters worse she was really homesick and was missing us a lot....So I decided to do a crazy stunt of driving with Shlok to Columbia for the weekend....I wrapped up my work bit early on Friday and started packing...I picked up Shlok from the day care at 5.30 pm...fed him at 6.30 pm ...bathed him at 7.30pm and put him to sleep by 8.30 pm...I then installed him in the car seat and drove 250 miles straight to Columbia...Was this worth it? definitely!!! Seeing Tanu smile and seeing Shloky sleep comfortably next to her that night made it all worth it....

Getting back to Morriville was all the more adventuresome, since I repeated the same feat but this time I drove continuously through heavy thunderstorms....Gave Shlok a big hug and big bottle of milk once we reached home...Can't wait for Tanu to get back home tomorrow for thanksgiving weekend...Hopefully we will be catching up a lot with our friends here in good old Morrisville...
