SPGM + Google Analytics

I am always curious about the people who have a look at the pictures on my website. I use the SPGM (Simple Photo Gallery Manager) tool for posting pictures and I really like it. SPGM is really simple to use, especially if you are a Unix user and offers great deal of flexibility as well. Also I use Google Analytics to keep a track of the people who visit the picture page on my website. This involves a small hack though and it goes as follows.

Once you have registered with Google Analytics, you will receive a small piece of HTML code which you need to copy paste on the page which you would like to keep a track off. In case of SPGM this basically implies modifying the index.php page. Any layman who has very little idea about HTML can perform this hack and then be able to keep track of the people visiting his SPGM gallery using Google Analytics.

Have fun!!!
