Shlok one month old

Shloky will be a month old tomorrow....It's hard to believe that it has already been a month since he arrived....Waiting for him to grow up a little more so that we can go camping and kayak-ing together in the summers.

Lawn mower

Everyday last week as I drove back home, I hated to see the crabgrass grown on our lawn. The problem was, last year Tanu had convinced me to use a push mower instead of gas mower. The push mower cuts the lawn grass well however it sucks at handling weeds. So today morning when I woke up, I decided to use my old gas mower however it did not start as I had not used it since two years. The fuel tank had two year old gas and the spark plug seemed to had gone bad as well. So I spent most of the afternoon running to stores to a buy siphon bulb, a spark plug and some new gas. I then used the siphon bulb to remove the old gas which had turned charred brown, replaced the spark plug and poured in the fresh new gas and voilĂ  the gas mower was up and running again. Spent most of the evening mowing the lawn and trimming the edges. I am damn exhausted now and want to simply have some food and crash into bed, hopefully Sholky will let us sleep a bit.

Spring is here

Tanu had done some gardening last fall and I could not understand what was she planting. I thought she was wasting her time and effort working on our flower bed as it was looking extremely barren. However her efforts seem to have paid off as the flower bed now looks extremely neat this spring.

Outliers

Saw Michael Gladwell's interview with Fareed Zakarai on CNN and was really impressed. Hence have decided that the next book for me to read will be Outliers. However I don't know when will I get to it.
