Tech rocks!!!

I love technology a lot and consider myself to be extremely lucky for being in this field. I think technology (when used correctly) can simplify a lots of problems in life.

My cousins Amol and Ritu were here this weekend and we clicked some pictures. Now organizing pictures has always been a big pain for me. I especially get anxious when I have to backup my pictures at the end of the year. I have to be extremely careful so that I don't lose any the good pictures taken during the year. I currently use flickr and like it a lot. The best feature that I like about is that I that I can mount all of my flickr albums on my Linux box as directories and manage my pictures as if they were simple files lying on my hard drive. This can be achieved using flickrfs. Basically you can mount the Flickr albums like you mount directories in NFS. This simply rocks!!!
