Feeling alive!!!
I spent most of the evenings this week assembling my road bike which had arrived in parts via mail. I got it ready yesterday night after the brake assembly. Woke up at 5.30 am this morning, tested and made sure that the gear assembly on the bike was fine as well. Went to work after that and came back by 5.30 pm.
I had my dinner at 6 pm, read a little bit and then decided to take my new road bike for a spin. Boy!!! what a feeling. Road biking is completely different than mountain biking. It's much more faster and much more thrilling as compared to mountain biking (which is more adventurous but slow). Next week I plan to practice around in the town to get a hang of the bike, especially changing gears. After that I plan to ride my road bike daily to the office. A perfect combination of fitness and fun (and lots of sweat).
